Welcome to my resources page. I have gained quite an arsenol of materials and helpful tools I use to build blogs for clients. Please feel free to steal some and use them to help assist you on your blogging journey.
Here’s some resources I’ve gathered…
Website Domain and Hosting
Bluehost – Bluehost is a great choice if you are just starting your first blog. They have several plans that start at as little as $3.95/mo and include your first domain name free.
Namecheap – Once I started hosting several websites, I started to use Namecheap. The domains are the cheapest out there and you only pay a one time $70/year to host unlimited domains, with 9 active at once.
Mailerlite – My personal favorite when it comes to email marketing services. There simple YouTube tutorials helped me make sense of email marketing and they allow you 100 subscribers for free. Perfect for beginners.
Divi from Elegant Themes – This is the most amazing theme and theme builder I have come across. It is super easy to navigate and build with. Everything is so customizable. I wish I had it a long time ago when I first started building websites.
Portent Blog Title Generator – Put in the topic and it will give you headline ideas.
Coschedule: Free Headline Analyzer – A headline analyzer that you can put your headline into and it will give it a rating based on the mix of words, power and emotion behind your words, length, etc… You can play around with your headline to try to improve the rating.
Grammerly – Run your content through grammerly’s checker to make sure you don’t have any mispelled words or run on sentences.
Evernote – This note platform can help you stay productive by writing down ideas, notes, and saving resources that can help you in creating your blog.
Google Keep – A simple app you can put on your phone so you can take notes and create checklists as you think of them.
Design and Photos
Canva – Canva is the perfect place to create your Pinterest images. They provide a library of free and paid images, shapes, layouts, and more to help you design your images in a way that meets the eye.
Foter – They have a large selection of free stock photography you can use for your image designs. Or you can create your own images.
Unsplash – Thousands of high quality stock photos that are royalty free.
Pexels – Amazing high quality photos in many different topics.
